Yesterday I shot an engagement session here in downtown Louisville, KY. Jeff and Kristal were such and blast to work with; they even let me take pictures of them in the street!
I cannot wait to shoot your wedding, guys! Thanks again!

This weekend’s wedding here in Louisville Kentucky was nothing short of spectacular. The church was amazing (photographers: the light was insane!…very warm and diffused), the bride and groom looked like they “stepped out of a J. Crew Magazine” (inside joke from the best man’s speech), and the food was amazing! Yes, I snagged a little [...]

Over the years brides have often asked me what they should look for in a wedding photographer. “What questions should we ask?”, “are albums really important?”, “should I get a videographer?”, etc… These, along with many others, are all very important questions and should be considered when choosing your wedding photographer.
To begin with, don’t be [...]

I am pressed for time, but here are a few of my favorites from the weekend:
New Seniors, Jordan!

This afternoon I had the pleasure of shooting the Senior portraits of Jordan. Jordan is sub 4:40 mile-running guru that feels the Lord potentially calling him into Kenyan missions. Jordan’s father brought his awesome car to replicate a few pictures he had taken in it as a young man. Very cool! Hope you enjoy!
Thanks Jordan!

It all started in a bank vault, no seriously…

Yesterday I filmed the BEAUTIFUL wedding of Nick and Nikki here in Louisville, KY. And as silly at it sounds, it is true: it all started in a bank vault. The Starbucks bank vault, that is. For those of you that haven’t met me in person yet, I LOVE talking to my clients over coffee, [...]

Today we received our studio sample of our new Collages album. This 8X10 album comes with our “Rose” package, includes 10 spreads, and normally showcases 35-40 images.
To say that I am pleased with the album would be a vast understatement. The albums cover is made of extremely soft and supple calfskin leather with a chic [...]
The Horse And My Great God

In the Bible the book of Genesis depicts God skillfully creating the universe and it’s inhabitants. Starting with grand themes such as the “heavens and the earth”, God’s creation eventually crescendoed into Man, His masterpiece, and final creation (besides that of his helpmate, the Woman).
This afternoon I was shoting a session in an open field [...]
